We educate parents about child development issues and the importance of being involved in their child’s education – from parent-teacher meetings to tracking academic progress. Our counselors assist families with child development issues and child-rearing, family planning, violence in the home, drug and alcohol abuse, and other mental and behavioral issues.
For The Children also offers financial fitness courses that focus on saving, credit recovery and first-time home buyers, as well as information on citizenship for immigrants.
This program is funded by Community Services and Palm Beach County with a mission “to promote independence and enhance the quality of life in Palm Beach County by providing effective and essential services to residents in need.”
And, through our partnership with the Palm Beach County school district, we provide English classes for parents.
