Mental Health Therapist
Position: Mental Health Therapist
Education: LCSW or LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) or Master in Mental Health.
Professional experience in the mental field that indicates knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders.
Licenses/Certifications: Licensed in the State of Florida by the appropriate state licensing agency. Must be bilingual in Haitian Creole and English or Trilingual, in Haitian Creole, Spanish and English
Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy services, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
Your responsibilities will involve coordinating treatment team evaluations, ensuring adherence to treatment plans, and timely documentation.

Provide clinical services adhering to grant and program policies, APA standards, and ethical guidelines.
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, including multifamily and educational groups.
Collaborate with treatment teams, communicate findings, and engage in crisis management.
Assist in policy development, maintain accurate records, and contribute to quality improvement.
Contribute to staff training, demonstrate flexibility in hours, and serve as a professional role model while ensuring overall effective clinical care.
Qualifications
- Master’s (Required)
- Experience working with youth and families where there are mental health and/or behavioral issues, and have knowledge of and ability to administer assessments (i.e.: CFARS, FARS)
- The ability to conduct assessments to a diverse population of students as well as possessing the ability to conduct sessions in Haitian Creole is required.
- Central Palm Beach County with primary target, family of Haitian Descents
- Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Part-time: $30.00 per Hr. and up based on experience
Work Schedule: Flexible schedule based on client’s need, availability, and hybrid and must be in location at least two days per week.
Requirements: Must have or complete a clean DCF background level 1 and level 2 screening check, TB assessment/physical, and drug test prior to employment, complete all grant required trainings in addition to 10 Hours yearly in-service within the contract year.
